About thirty bands calledEuphoria have releasedrecords since l969 and many others with other names have also releasedrecords titledEuphoria. There are three known EUphoria bands in the UK at present, one in the US (a second recently changed its name to CherrySmsah, one in Canada, one in Sweden, Japan,Taiwan aqnd India.I created and named the first Euphoria in l965 with Bill Lincoln,Wesley Watt,DavePotter, when I was knon as Doug Delain. This is discussed in books and on the web by vernon Joynsonb, Euphoria-Everything Is Everything, andBryan Thomas,All Music Guide, Euphoira.They add I was also invcolved with Arthur Lee and Love, The Doors and Warren Zevon in Sixties Hollywood. I alsoknew Frank Zappa, and Hendrix made a promo film at my home in l968, The Psychedelic temple. I left Euphoria by l967, and in l969, began a sex change, became Angela Douglas, a jouranlist formany periodicals,and created a rights group for transsexuals with hundreds of members, including in the UK<based in Miami,diissolved in l978 after I had sex change surgery. I then sank into war with everyone in Hollywoiod, dozens of films, TV shows are thefts from my published life story.many tried toframe me on crimes,shutme up,went to police, FBI> Sued some in l987 in Frisco,lost,came back to Florida, and as a man, began performing again in l987,doing quite well. I finally got a could be better recordedCD out recently,Cosmo Alley, mostly R and B covers, no one butme on it. I am now sixty. I ran across him at a club in Frisco in 78, then looking like Madoinna, told him I had changed sex,etc and he completely freaked out.We were good friends in the SIxties! he got l2 years in 96 for firing a gun aqyt someone, I went topresident Clinton, no response, and then to president Bush,and maybe he helped him,lee got out in 2001 after five years in prison.
